If you are fortunate enough to live in Northern New Mexico (or are visiting the area), treat yourself to a movie at the new TransLux DreamCatcher Cinema, with its 6 screens, stadium seating, and digital sound. It's located in Espaņola on S. Hwy 285, just a 20-minute drive from the Santa Fe plaza. My family and I live in Tesuque, and it takes us less time to get to the DreamCatcher than to Villa Linda Mall! Unlike the multiplex theaters with tiny screens that we used to see popping up in cities, DreamCatcher's screens are BIG, the sound is absolutely fabulous, you get a clear view from a cushy seat and the butter on the popcorn is real (as is also the case at the Jean Cocteau and Grand Illusion, TransLux's Santa Fe locations).
